Get packed and indulge in this exciting 7 days 6 nights biking tour to Bhutan and witness amazing beauty. Start your trip from Paro and then begin your adventurous ride through the mesmerizing hills and valleys.
On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by our company representative and check into your hotel. Get briefed about your bikes and Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower housing the National Museum, with abundant culture relics. Then experience the beauty of Paro Dzong, perhaps the finest example of Bhutanese architecture as well as a local religious administrative center.
After breakfast we will ride to Chelela pass and then you will take fascinating ride of about 2 hours to the capital Thimphu and check into your hotel. Enjoy the walk around the Memorial Chorten, a huge stupas built in memory of the third King who reigned from 1952 – 1972.
Start the day by riding to the gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue. Then walk around takin zoo and ride to Sangay Gang viewpoint to have a full view of Thimphu valley. Travel towards the Royal Botanical Garden. Visit Trashichho Dzong – The main secretariat building. Then visit the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved.
After an early breakfast ride to Punakha. On the way, halt at Dochula for a hot cup of tea/coffee and on a clear day; explore the most spectacular view of the Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges. Towards Punakha take a short village hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of ‘divine madman’ and check into your hotel. Walk around and watch the mystical, the symbol of united Bhutan, the Dzong which lies between two rivers, Pochu and Mochu, meaning male and female rivers. Then hike to suspension bridge. It is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. It connects to the adjoining villages.
After breakfast take a ride towards Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten and get mesmerized by the striking Khamsum Yulley monastery. After that, adore the beauty of Nunnery Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup lhakhang. Then ride back to Paro and stop for photographs on the way when you come across good spot for your pictures.
Start the day by hiking Taktsang “Tiger’s nest”. The monastery is perched on a rocky ledge at a height of 9000m above Paro valley and Picnic lunch at Taktsang cafeteria. Later After that, go to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Enjoy the amazing views of the amazing views of the hills and the valleys as you continue your ride. Then stroll around Paro town for shopping and checkout amazing handicraft.
After breakfast, bid farewell to your guide and be transferred to the airport for flight.
